  Went to De Dutch today! Was delish. Fruit was fresh great service good sourdough toast. Love it

  Walked in at 2:45pm with a good friend of mine for late brunch. The restaurant hours are until 3pm today. This particular waitresses attitude began the moment we had walked in. We went to sit down and we were interrupted when she stopped us in our tracks and told us "sit and wait to be seated". I could tell from her tone that this young lady was having a bad day--or I suspect she wasn't pleased we were there since closing time was in 15-minutes, nevertheless. Soon as I'm asked, I walk over to the table of our choice and the bleach blonde short lady with glasses, stands in my way and asks strangely again "Would you like to be seated?" ( I assume she stood in our way so she can decide where we sit and didn't like us choosing our table?). I replied, "I am not going to stand and eat".
  
  At this moment In my eyes she's reached a new customer service low, & has very poor listening skills. Once I sat down I said "I know what I'd like to order, no menu necessary". I began listing off what I wanted. She immediately Turned to my friend to take their order--while I was in the middle of ordering.
  
  The girl seemingly was confusing the orders on purpose. In the past she had always had a chip on her shoulder and a small attitude, but nothing noteworthy to take to Yelp reviews. She and I seemingly got on each other's nerves to the point that I said the 'f' word in frustration in my order as she was continuously interrupting my order. At that point & rightfully-so, she said she isn't going to serve me and walked off and told the kitchen staff. As she threw her wrongDoing in my direction at the end of the day, it was fine by me.
  
  Had she not come off with an attitude to start,  my guest and I would've been enjoying ourselves as usual instead of going next door to COSMO's. IF there are any future visits here, my family & friends are definitely going to call in ahead to make sure we don't have to deal with this young lady.

  De dutch is really popular here. One day I went there at 9am and it was full of customers. So I had to return another day. This place is perfect for breakfast with friends, family or alone  Food is amazing and the behaviour of the people is also good. And their orange juice is really made from real orange. Will go back to try new items.

  De Dutch is like waiting in line at an IKEA  while you try to avoid making eye contact with you ex who just walked in with his wife who used to bully you in high school and you're purchasing a space heater because your apartment is freezing even though you spend 90 percent of your income from a job you hate on rent.
